Autism and childhood vaccines
There has been ongoing controversy surrounding certain vaccines and their relationship to autism. Some mom and dad have been concerned that vaccines, particularly the measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine and preservatives utilized in other childhood vaccines, play a role in small children creating autism. Some stopped vaccinating their children altogether simply because of this concern.
